I quit my job today. Thanks to a wonderful angel, I’m starting at a “start-up” with some friends. It’s all at once exciting, liberating, scary, and motivating. This will put off our on again, off again, lukewarm family plan to leave San Francisco for a while. But that’s a good thing. Now we can focus on where and who we are, here in San Francisco, as San Franciscans, instead of where we could be if we wanted to settle near our extended families.
This means we’ll need a new nanny/babysitter, since we are loosing our current one. If you know of someone who’s available and who you trust, post a comment so I can get in touch with you.
Well… Good Luck with the new company! And I hope we’ll see each other from time to time now even when I don’t just have to look over my shoulder.
